The Graciouseness Of God

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. Pentecost

Jeremiah 31:31-32 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord."

A House Divided

"If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”  Mark 3:24-25   

What did Jesus mean by this statement?

The issue under discussion by Jesus is “division.”

The enemy attacks the house of God from without and from within. 

He knows that his attack from outside will be more successful if the house is weakened by suspicion and disputes.
