Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and
song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My
father's God, and I will exalt Him.
Many years ago I was asked by a
fellow believer what I considered to be my greatest strength as a Christian.
When I told him that I thought
integrity was my greatest Christian strength he said, “I believe that the Holy
Spirit is telling me that this is a problem”.

James 1:16-18 “Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and
every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights,
with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.Of His own will He brought
us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His
creatures.”

Phil 4:8 says, “… whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are
pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if
there is any virtue, and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these
things.”
All the “things” mentioned in this
verse can be summed up in one word – “virtue”.
“If there be ANY virtue …”

But even if we or an
angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you,
let him be eternally condemned! “As we have already said, so now I say again:
If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him

Strong
words from the Apostle Paul.

are words from one who proved himself to be faithful to the truth of God
