All Things Become New

Posted by David Puffer on Sunday, December 31, 2017,

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.   And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."  John 8:31-32

“And the truth shall make you free!”  -  What truth was Jesus talking about?

Psalm 119:160 declares, “The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.”

And Jesus, interceding for His disciples in John 17:17 says, "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth...

Bearing Gifts

Posted by David Puffer on Tuesday, December 26, 2017,

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men."  Eph 4:7-8

Yes, we are.  But we are also responsible for those opinions and the decisions that evolve from them.

Understand first that the statement, “there is no God”, is a categorical statement.

That is, it is stated as definite, without question, decided.

Since it is stated as undeniably true, it demands proof just a...

An Acceptable Sacrifice

Posted by David Puffer on Friday, December 1, 2017,

The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: 'If any of you--either an Israelite or an alien living in Israel--presents a gift for a burnt offering to the LORD, either to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering, you must present a male without defect from the cattle, sheep or goats in order that it may be accepted on your behalf.  Do not bring anything with a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalfLev 22:17-20

What is an ac...
