Romans 3:20-23 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith (pistis) in [of] Jesus Christ to all who believe (pisteuo).

In this passage Paul is affirming that man is justified by faith apart from observing the law.

Several days ago I happened to be listening to the local radio station where a guest from Harvard, a Dr. Kim I believe, was revealing the results of some study on prayer that her department had conducted in the past.

It was sad, but not surprising, what these researchers had concluded from their observations (considering the intellectual bias of Harvard).

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Gal 2:20

Can you say, “I have been crucified with Christ”?

Can you say, “I have died with Christ and so I have been raised with Him and Christ lives in me”?

Paul said it – But what gave him the right to say it? And just what did he mean by it?
